Crazy...

I was thinking the other day how much my little Logie bear has grown (and Cody too) in the last year. This video was from a year ago Memorial Day weekend...My little bear then compared to my little bear now just blows my mind...

Bus Races

I feel like it's been a little too long to post a ton of pictures of the Bus Races...so I'm just going to post the cutest one.



Brian did not win this year...but at least he lost because his turbo went out in the last race and not because people were out to get him. There's always next year!! :-) Logan and Cody were SO excited to go watch Daddy drive the bus. They thought riding on the bug up and down the driveway was the COOLEST thing! Cody still talks about it and points to the bus every morning. These boys think their Dad walks on water...and why wouldn't they? After all their Dad is pretty amazing!!!

No Mom

We're driving in the car last night and this is the conversation...

Logan: [mumble mumble mumble from the backseat]

Me: "What bud?"

Logan: [mumble mumble mumble from the backseat]

Me: "What buddy? Can you say it again?" [I lean closer to the back seat]

Logan: "No Mom, I'm not going to say it again. I already said it TWICE!"

Me: heheh "I can't hear you. Can you say it louder so I can hear you?"

Logan: "No Mom, I'm not going to say it louder. I'll get in trouble for being loud."

Me: [laughing] "Then I guess I'll never know what you said."

That kid I tell you is so hard to discipline. He's always toeing the line. Although I'm not really sure if that's considered talking back to me or just being a Meyer...it's hard to tell some times. :-)

Sprinkler Fun

Very quick post tonight as I'm very tired...

Just a quick video of the boys playing in the sprinkler. Logan has been asking me for weeks if he could play in the sprinkler and of course it's been too cold. But that one day when it got to 80 he made sure to ask...and how was I to say no? Cody wouldn't go in cause it was too cold! :-) He did eventually go in and had a blast!



I have a few posts coming. One for the bus races and another of Logan's photography skills. He loves to grab my camera and take pictures with it. You'll have to check them out soon; I promise to post them by Monday! :-)

Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep....

Ever since we've moved Cody into the big boy bed in Logan's room, bed time has gotten a whole lot more exciting...and frustrating. Those two will sit up there an talk/play for HOURS, yes literally HOURS before falling asleep. Logan will talk or sing or make funny noises and Cody will copy him. Logan's forever the suck-up and tattles on Cody as soon as he's gets out of his bed, "Mom Cody's out of he's bed." "Mom, Cody's making noises". I actually heard Logan the other night say to Cody, "Cody, I've had just about enough of you." Jee...wonder where he's heard that before? :-)

It's super adorable and cute and I know some day I'll be longing for these nights, which is why I took the below video. You can't really see anything, if you look really hard you can see Cody playing in his bed. When he saw me standing outside their door trying to get some audio footage of them talking/playing he got a huge smile on his face. I'm guessing he thought I was there to yell at them to stop talking and close their eyes and go to bed. Oh, that's another of Logan's favorites, "Mom I don't know how to close my eyes." or a variation of that is, "Mom I don't know how to go to sleep." :-) That kid is one of a kind I tell you!

The video is of Logan praying. April Sherman sent him this doll before he was even born. I just love it and now Logan does too!

Easter

I know Easter was a few weeks ago, but my Mom got such great pictures of the boys that I have to share them...even three weeks after the fact... :-)

Coloring Easter Eggs!! Logan really got a kick out of this and asked me for like a week after if he could color Easter Eggs again. My Mom said they kept trying to dig the eggs out with their fingers and their hands were just covered in dye. Hey I guess that's what little boys are suppose to do right?

Thanks again Mom and Dad for watching the boys for us. Logan asked me the other day, "Mom you going on 'cation again?" I said, "Why Logan? Do you want me to?" Logan: "Yes, then I can go stay with Grandma and Grandpa again." :-) If only I had enough cash to go on 'cation again!
