Cody's First Birthday

Photobucket

My little Cody Mouse turned a year old yesterday. I can't believe it's been a year already. Little mouse it seems as though you've always been a part of this crazy disorganized family and I struggle to remember what it was like with only one boy running around the house leaving toy trucks and balls in his wake. You've melded into this family and help make us complete once again. I love you're little sly smiles you give me from across the room when I'm telling you to get down off the kitchen table. You love to to from chair to chair and work you're way up onto the table, if you can manage to get to the top of the table before I run over and take you down you do a little happy bounce, throw you're hands in the air and let out a laugh of joy. It all started because you wanted to see what Logan was doing when he was playing with his play-dough. Most of the things you've learned you've learned from watching Logan. How to climb on stuff, how to run, how to wrestle...and you love to wrestle with Logan. Most of the time you're taking him down and laughing the whole time. If Logan and Daddy are wrestling you squirm and kick to get down and wrestle with them. And as soon as you're on the floor you're laughing and diving right on top of them.

You NEVER stop eating. Daddy and I swear you've got a hallow leg that you fill up each meal time. We haven't found many foods that you don't like. You're getting closer to saying 'bottle' but know what it is and what it means and will point to it and grunt when you want some thing to drink. You say 'Dadda' and think he's the greatest person on the planet! As soon as he walks into the room you're on your way over to him, arms out stretched just begging for him to pick you up. You get jealous if he holds Logan.

I have to be honest...when I found out I was pregnant with you I thought to myself, 'how can my heart possibly have enough room to love another baby the way I love Logan?', but the truth is there's no limit to how much love the heart can hold. You are my little Cody Mouse and I love you more than you'll ever know. I can't wait to watch you grow up and experience all that life will hold for you. I know you'll do great things and touch the lives of all of those you meet. You've certainly filled your father's and I's lives with nothing but joy, excitement and love for the last year and we can't wait for all the great years to come!

Love Mom

P.S. I've got pictures and videos from his party coming! Sorry I've been without a computer for a few days...it's killing me!
