Logan really likes to wrestle and one night no one wanted to wrestle with him, so I told him to ask Daddy to show him some wrestling drills that he could do by himself if he wanted to wrestle. While this got Dads attention and got him right off the chair and into 'coach' mode! :-) It's pretty funny watching him teach Logan some moves and Logan just LOVES it! Oh and if you're wondering what Cody was doing during all this you'll have to watch until the end to find out...trouble maker...
NOTE: I apologize for the video being so dark

Weekend Adventures
This weekend was actually pretty low key for us. Just hanging out. April Seiberlich our nanny from this summer came over on Saturday to hang with us. The boys (and us too) really miss her, but schools going well for her and she's having a blast! We're super excited for her and wish her the best. We took the boys to Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater. It's a really cool park!!

Cody kept smashing his face into one of those playground bubbles. It was super funny...and super gross...I'm sure there's all kinds of germs and buggers and snot on those things.

We went to Target after the park and both boys wanted to get down and walk. Logan was so cute taking Cody's hand and leading him around the store.

The rest of Saturday was spent hanging out at home. The excitement didn't start until Brian got back in from bow hunting. He had shot a 10-pointer!! He came in right after he shot it and didn't go look for it immediately. I think partly because he wanted to let it sit for a while and not push it too much, but partly I think so that Logan could go with him to help track it. Logan was so excited that he got to go with and track the big buck!! After they had found it he came running into the house jumping up and down with excitement. Then he started re-enacting the tracking process; showing me how he looked for blood and screaming, "Blood" when he found some...which he actually did find some and Uncle Mike didn't believe him, but he did! It's going to be so great when he can actually go hunting with Daddy and kill the big buck himself! :-)

A couple weeks ago Brian got Logan the movie "Cars" on Bluray. I'm still trying to decide if it was a stroke of genius or not because now he asks to watch it all the time...but it does keep him entertained for quite a while so it allows Mom to get some work done around the house...the jury's still out... But it's so funny when he wants to watch it and we say no. He cocks his head to the side, gives us his saddest fast and go, "but it's my favorite movie". It's too cute!! And of course now he loves all this "Cars" gear, like PJs, and slippers and underwear, etc.

Then Sunday morning we carved pumpkins. Logan still didn't really want to stick his hand in the pumpkin to clean it out....Cody on the other hand dug right in! :-)

And last but not least, Sunday night Sherri treated Logan to Mickey's Magic show at the Excel Energy Center! Logan was pretty excited about it! He kept asking, "Where's Mickey". Thanks Auntie Sherri!! We love you!

Stuck Like Glue!
As many of you know I LOVE Sugarland and they just released a new single on Friday called "Stuck Like Glue" and it couldn't have been at a better time! Today is Brian's birthday and this song says it all!
Happy Birthday Babe! I'm 'Stuck Like Glue' to you!!
NOTE: Sorry the video was a recording of their concert at Country Jam in Eau Claire WI. I didn't go to Country Jam, but stole it from someone on YouTube! Gotta love YouTube! :-)

Meyer Ranch Clubhouse
Construction has started on the Meyer Ranch clubhouse. As a warning for those of you that don't know my husband, he doesn't do any thing halfway or half-ass...so this clubhouse is of course spectacular! Brian will admit it's a little bigger then he had originally envisioned, but construction has commenced so it's staying this size.
My Dad and Brian began construction on Saturday and made quite a bit of progress. It's far from being complete, but the slide works and the swings work and the house is of course super fun to play in!
Pre-construction

Daddy's little helper. Logan was in HEAVEN this weekend. He loved being there helping Daddy and Grandpa building stuff. He did good and didn't get in the way too much. He would, of course, take their tools and lose them, but what's the fun of building something if all your tools are right where you left them?

First wall is up!

Grandpa and Cody takin' a break.

Auntie and Cody

Yes their club house is big enough to fit 7 grown adults comfortably...and we could probably fit way more than 7 in there.

My job was to put together the spiral slide. So of course I called for re-enforcements! Kim, Keri, and I (with the help of Dan a little bit) put the spiral slide together. It really wasn't that hard...although there was a lot of bolts! Over 347 I think.

Cody helping to put together the spiral slide.

Logie and Kim counting washers and bolts and nuts.

Cody testing out the baby swing! I think he likes it!

This is the finish product...so far...Still a lot of work to do, but like I said the swings work and the slide works and the sand box is full! Yes it does have working windows and it will have two working doors...it's also getting electricity and porch lights, siding, shingles and maybe even a little flower pot under the window... ;-)

One of my favorite songs right now is Laura Bell Bundy's song "Giddy On Up". Every time it comes on CMT I crank it up and dance with the boys. So when it came on the radio this weekend Logan of course began bustin' out his moves to the song and sang along. If you can't understand him he's saying, "Giddy On Up, Giddy On Up".
Logan testing out the new slide. I think this clubhouse is already a HUGE success!
Both the boys testing out the swings. Cody LOVES the swing and could swing for hours!
I'll keep you posted with updates on the clubhouse as Brian continues to make progress this summer.

More Bus Racing Pics
Grandma is truly young at heart!! By the way, Logan LOVES my Mom!! He wants nothing to do with me when she's around! He's all about Grandma!! :-)

This is a shot of Logan when the race cars first came out. He was pretty pumped about them at first...then when they got loud he was yelling at the top of his lungs for them to "Stop! Stop. Right. Now." hehehe

Uncle Michael trying to help with the noise issues!

A little Chieftain War Paint!

Beautiful Cheddar!

Yes Cody, Tyler is that weird...we've learned to accept it...you will too some day.

Videographer Tee

Chieftain Pride!

Logie was pretty pumped that Dad was driving the bus. Every time we talk about it around the house now he goes, "Daddy Won! Bus Race Daddy Won!" It's too cute!

Best Bus Race Driver Ever!

Best Buds

There were over a 1000 Osceola students and parents there to cheer on BMeyer!

Logie was so excited at this point...but also so tired...That night was the latest he's ever stayed up in his life so far. He did great at the races though and was a trooper and Daddies biggest supporter!
