Cody's Party...Finally

This summer has been the busiest summer Brian and I (and everyone else I've talked to) have ever had. I kept telling myself 'It's going to slow down once school starts and fall comes' but to be honest the opposite is happening. We're getting busier and busier. I was suppose to start Grad. school last week and I did actually go to the first class, but after attending the first class and getting a glimpse of the work involved I had to take a step back and re-evaluate. It was a very hard decision for me, but I've dropped my class for the semester. I just can't keep pulling myself into a million different directions and keep everything straight. I've already dropped some major balls of things I should have done or remembered and I don't want to continue doing that or even yet do something worse. So long story short, I'm not taking a class this semester and will re-evaluate in January if I can handle continuing my degree then. Why does life have to be so complex and complicated some times?

All of that is the truth, but also a lead in as to why the blog has lacked posts lately. There's no shortage of content that I could be posting...just a shortage of time to get the posts up. My little Cody Mouse's Birthday Party was over a week ago and still no blog post! Well no more...here are some great videos and pictures from the party. It was a blast! Thank you everyone that came or sent well wishes that day! We love you!

We had the party in the tuck-under, so the kids could play on the play center and us parents could relax and watch.

It was all downhill after Cody opened this gift. He didn't care about the other gifts, he just wanted to sit on his airplane. Thanks Auntie Christie!!

Hey, I'm the queen of lags between blog posts, so don't sweat it! Love the pics. Looks like the party was awesome! Cody is no longer a mouse... I think I'll have to follow in Uncle Dan's lead and continue calling him Kodiak! I like that your brother is tripple fisting it on the play set. Geeze dude. Looks like a great time had by all. Good job w/the party and cake mama!
