Sever's Corn Maze
Sunday the boys and I went to Sever's Corn Maze with my parents. It was a lot of fun...well except for the 25 seconds where we lost Logan in the corn maze and I about had a heart attack! In hindsight it's not a very good idea to bring a 2 year old who loves to run and play as well as a 1 year old to a corn maze... ;-)
We did really have a blast though. They had a corn pit or pool which is exactly what it sounds like a huge pool of corn. It was a ton of fun to jump and play in. At first the boys weren't too into it. Cody especially was like, "Ah Mom what the hell is this thing?" But they had both just woken up from naps so they weren't quite awake yet.
Diving into the corn.
"Ah Mom...what the hell is this?"
As you can tell he came around quickly and totally LOVED jumping into the corn.
My Aunt Denise and her two sons Dominic and Michael came as well.
Along with the corn pit/pool they had an Exotic Petting Zoo and then a little Barnyard set up. The Exotic petting zoo had Zebra's which are Logan's favorite (although you couldn't pet them), Ostriches, Kangaroos, and lots of other cool things. Logan thought it was fun to feel the animals; Cody on the other hand wanted nothing to do with them. He was a little scared...which I don't blame him some of those things were huge!
Note the death grip on my Dad.
Cody and Logan just wanted to play in the dirt.
Jumping off the hay bails.
We had to go back to the corn pool/pit before we left since it was so much fun!!
Grandma got a little confused...but it's all good! We still got the footage we wanted! Thanks Mom!
It was a great day and a ton of fun!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Can't wait until next year...oh wait...then we'll have a 3 year old AND a 2 year old....we might have to rethink this.... ;-)

Tinkles
"Do you hear my tinkles" -Logan
We've officially started potty training and I hate to type this cause I know it's going to blow up in my face...but it's going well so far. He's so cute when he gets on the potty and looks up at me with a huge smile and says, "Do you hear my tinkles?" He's so proud of himself!!

Osceola Fair
I know....I know....it's been two weeks since the Osceola Fair and I'm finally just getting around to posting pictures and videos. Remember when I used to blog 12 - 13 times a month instead of the 4 - 5 times I've been doing lately? I promise I'll try to get better...
The Osceola Fair this year was a ton of fun! The weather was perfect and the boys did great...that is for having their nap schedules completed screwed up and on top of that being pumped full of candy, sweets, and sugary items. But what would the fair be without all that? :-)
Saturday morning started with the 10K for me and meeting Brian and the boys up at the airport for breakfast and to look at the planes. They had a military helicopter there that you could sit in and climb on. Logan thought it was pretty cool.
[I have more pictures in the helicopter but can't seem to find them right now...]
Then the plan was to take the boys home, eat lunch, nap and then head back into the fair for ride wristbands...only problem was that neither one of the boys wanted to do the nap part. They both slept for MAYBE a half hour...if that...and were up and wide awake. So back into the fair we want. Logan LOVED the rides!
Cody wasn't big enough yet to go on all the rides. But he did manage to go on a few rides and loved them just as much as Logan did!
Logan was getting off the first ride of the day when he looked up and saw Autumn and Elle from daycare. I don't think I've mentioned this before, but Logan LOVES Elle. She's his favorite friend to play with at daycare and was very sad this year that Elle has to leave for part of the day to go to Pre-K. So seeing them at the fair was an added bonus for Logan. The icing on the cake! Elle's the little girl with curly hair sitting next to Logan and Autumn is the other little girl. Elle and Autumn are sisters. They look so cute together!
Look at them laughing and having a great time!! It's so cute!!
Cody driving the 3 Musketeers around! :-)
Logan and Elle.
On the cars again. The cars were the boys' favorite ride at the fair!
The road crew! Kim, my Mom, Dad and Godfather Steve where there to help with the boys. Brian's Mom and Janelle were also there for a little bit as well. Thank you! I couldn't have done that by myself!
As soon as we got to the fair Logan points up at this big adult ride that goes upside down and spins and says, "I want to go on that." He kept asking the entire time to go on this big ride. Well I wasn't about to take him on that ride...but I did think he'd enjoy the Ferris Wheel (and that Mom could stomach the Farris Wheel!) Man was I right! He LOVED the Ferris Wheel! We had a blast, laughing and screaming and pointing at all the things far away the entire ride!
Chillin' on the swings. On Friday night we took Logan into the fair as well and tried to get him on the swings. The operator wouldn't let him on cause he was about an inch too short. Guess the operator on Saturday didn't care as much and let him right on. You can see how tired he looks in this picture. As soon as he stopped moving he crashed. :-)
Then on Sunday was the Osceola parade. At the ranch it was kind of chilly out, so all of us were wearing jeans and our football jersey's (Logan insisted we all wear our jerseys.) Turns out it was actually kind of hot out and we all immediately began sweating our butts of at the parade. Cody found a way to style it out though and looked adorable!
Julie the boys' daycare provider is also a First Responder, so she was in the parade. Kim just happened to get her on video literally dumping the candy bucket into Logan's hat! It was too funny! We love you Julie! :-)
I'm in the band! After the band walked by, Logan got the idea that he could do what the drummers were doing and decided to show us his drumming and marching skills!
Cody showin' us his dance moves!
Double fistin' it!
"Mom what a great weekend! But man am I beat!"

10K
Run the Osceola 10K
Last Saturday I completed the Osceola 10K...now for a runner (which I do not consider myself to be a runner) running a 10K is a drop in the bucket. For me it was a total accomplishment and something I will remain proud of....that is until I do a half marathon! :-)
My good friend Jody also ran the 10K! Jody you did a fantastic job and I'm so proud of you!! Way to go girl!
Others that ran the 5K were my parents! Congrats you 2! Great job!
Sherri also ran the 5K! Congrats to you!!
I have more pictures and some cute videos from fair weekend to come...I'll try to get another post out soon!
