One of the boys favorite things to do is Hunt Monsters. They take anything even closely resembling a gun or bow and walk around the upstairs and 'hunt monsters'. So next time you're at the Ranch have no fear there are NO monsters at our house! :-)
Steven was home a couple weeks ago and was partaking in the hunting action. Thanks Uncle Steven for helping to keep our house safe!

Logan and his Bike...Helmet
We got this little bike from a co-worker of mine and Logan's finally big enough to ride it this year. In keeping with his tradition of always wanting to wear a hat/helmet of some kind (or boots/shoes/gloves) he's obsessed with wearing his bike helmet when he rides his bike. Oh who am I kidding...he's obsessed with wearing his bike helmet ALL THE TIME.
The helmet we had for him, given to us by my co-worker was too big for him. So Brian told him we'd get him a new one. He asked about his new bike helmet almost every day. Then one day him and I were at Walmart and he asked if he could get his new bike helmet. I said sure and we headed to the helmets right after entering the store. We picked out a Spiderman helmet and of course had to try it on to see if it would fit. Well of course he didn't want to take it off after that. So the rest of the time at Walmart he wore his bike helmet around the store. Which wouldn't be THAT weird except the helmet still had the packaging on it so there was this big cardboard bill on the helmet that stuck up. And the icing on the cake is that the bike helmet came with one of those squeaky horns for his bike. So he's wearing this helmet with the cardboard bill around Walmart and squeaking this horn on his head the ENTIRE time. All I could do was laugh! He's so funny.
That was about three weeks ago. But he's still obsessed with wearing it. He had it on tonight when I got home from work, just sitting at the table eating a snack with his helmet on. I'm so used to it that I don't even notice now. We had to run to the store to get a few things tonight and we get out of the car at the store and of course he still has his helmet on. I let him wear it in the store...it's WAY easier to just let him wear it then fight the battle of getting him to take it off. Plus who really cares right? Some day I'm sure he'll be like, "Seriously Mom you let me wear a bike helmet to the grocery store?" :-) hehehehe
Here's a few pics of him riding his bike. It's kinda funny when he rides it too. He has the training wheels on his bike of course and because we've got a gravel driveway he usually only gets a few feet before his training wheels are lower then his big back tire and he just starts spinning. Then you have to walk over and give him a little push cause he's 'stuck'. Again I think it's so funny when he's sitting there with his helmet on going, "Mom, come push me." :-)
Oh little Logie Bear...you are something else...

Twins Brewers Game
I know it's been a couple weeks since we actually went to the game, but the pictures are still fun...
Kim organized this whole event and it was a total BLAST! There were 64 of us that went to the game. We had a BBQ at Sharon and Larry's before the game equip with Jello Shots and passing the bottle of 'Chocolate Milk' (a.k.a Hot Sex). Some of us (who shall remain nameless) indulged a little too much and ending up getting lost once at the ballpark. ;-) The boys loved the game and did pretty well. Cody was getting pretty tired by the end of it, but it was a long weekend so we can't expect too much. If you watched the videos in the last post you'll see that Cody literally NEVER stops moving...so sitting still at a baseball game is just about the ultimate torturer for him.
Enjoy!
No idea what my Mom's doing behind us... ;-)
Of course we had to have the 'Cody drinking Beer' picture! :-)
Steven and his 'Friend' Danielle. We like her!
Last but definitely not least...my handsome husband! I Love You Babe!!

Story Time
Gather 'round everyone, Logan would like to read you a story. Cody and Logan's favorite book these days is "Go Dog Go" by Dr. Seuss. I read it to them almost every night. I've got almost every word memorized and as you will see below so does Logan...
The he was also reading/singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Cody knows almost all the words to that as well. It's so cute when they sing it. In one of them though he gets confused and forgets the words...

Growing up
Lately Logan's been asking me a lot of questions which circle around things grown ups can do and things kids can do. He'll say to me, "Mom only bdults can to [insert something only an adult should do]". Yup he says bdult instead of adult...it's super cute!
Then last night this is the conversation during bath:
Logan: Mom I want to be a bdult
Me: Why?
Logan: Cause bdults can stay up late.
Me: Buddy, being an adult isn't all it's cracked up to be. We have responsibilities and bills and have to go to work. Stay a kid for as long as you possibly can.
Logan [now crying]: I want to be a bdult. I want to be a bdult.
Me: I'll trade places with you buddy. You can go to work for me and I'll stay home and color and swing and watch cartoons. I think being a kid is way better than being an adult.
Logan [still crying]: I don't want to be a kid. I don't want to be a kid.
It was so cute and funny. I had to blog it cause someday I'll tell him, "See I told you to stay a kid for as long as you could!" :-)

Excuses Excuses
I can't tell you how many times I went to write a new blog post and got no further than opening the 'New Post' entry and sitting with a blank screen. Mostly because I hadn't uploaded any pictures or videos yet and therefore couldn't just distract you with pictures. ;-) I apologize for my tardiness in posting. Again I will promise to be better at it. One thing I will tell you is I usually don't start posting again until people start nagging me...so if I start to fall behind please nag me. I give you permission to nag away. Via Text, Facebook, E-mail, Public humiliation. Whatever you need to do to get me to post I'm in! ;-)
So in an effort to not over do myself right off the bat, I'm just going to post a few pictures from the Mud Run. Brian, Steven, my Mom and Dad , my Dad's friend Dave and I ran a 5K Mud Run a few weeks ago. I was a TON of fun and way harder than I expected it to be. An eye opening experience for the 10K Mud Run in September!
The whole Gang
My Favorite Sign! I totally want a shirt that says this on it!
OK I've got a bunch of random pictures of the boys to post. I've got pics from the 4th of July weekend to post and some pictures of Logan riding his bike. I'll try to give you an update of what the boys have been up to lately too! They're a handful but totally cute and adorable!!
