Oh my gosh dude!!! I am laughing so hard right now!!! Did Bmeyer take a running start and bounce off the couch to get that sad star on the top!? I love the tree! It's got character, that's for sure! At least yours is up! We don't even have ours yet!
Hehe...No, we put it on from the loft, but I was standing on the arm of the couch to put the lights on and almost fell in to the tree and couldn't help put picture the scene from Elf when he puts the start on top! I've also been told it looks a little like the Grinch's Tree... :-)
Oh wow....your tree has....umm....character! Yep, character. It is cool that you can say you cut it down from your own woods - not many can say the same. All I can say about my tree is that I took it out of the box it sits for 11 months of the year down in the basement (not nearly as good of a story).
