I love this time of year! One of my favorite things is all the great food! This weekend my cousin Kim came over and we made all different kinds of Christmas cookies. We had planned on making about 7 different kinds, but ended up making about 9 different kinds. It was a ton of fun listening to Christmas music and baking cookies. Of course Logan helped :-) He loved dumping the ingredients into the mixer and then turning it on. Only once I think did he turn it on when he wasn't suppose to. Here are some pictures and a short video.
Logan in his place next to the mixer!
Helping to fill the flour!
We started with the press-out sugar cookies. Logan's favorite part...the dough. He'd take a little piece off, hand it to me and say, "Thank You" and then take another little piece off and eat it. :-) He did like to push the cookie cutters down though too.
He had flour all over...so cute!
Cody even got in on the action!
For one of the cookies you have to melt Andes mints, so we had to unwrap about a bag and a half of mints. Logan unwrapped almost all of them for us. He loved standing on his stool and unwrapping them. Only about every 10th one ended up in his mouth.
Kim and I rolling the balls.
Cody taking a quick snooze from the action...he's so stinkin' cute!
This last picture is my favorite! We were dipping these pretzel rings in chocolate and two of them got stuck together. I couldn't resist...the look on his face is priceless!
Thanks for all your help this weekend Kim! It was a ton of fun!
