This weekend my brother Steven graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. There were 13 of us that made the 5 hour trek across the state to watch him walk across the stage and get his diploma....14 if you count Cody. Logan stayed home with Dad, there was no way I was taking him on a 5 hour car ride and then force him to sit through the graduation ceremony only to get back in the car and do the 5 hour trek home. He had fun hanging out with Uncle Dan, Grandma Meyer and Auntie Janelle.
The graduation ceremony went really well...that is after we found the place. There was a bit of direction mayhem in getting from Fort Atkinson to Steven's apartment, but once we found it everything went smoothly from there and the ceremony actually wasn't even that long. Here are a few pictures from the big event.
Everyone waiting patiently for the program to start.
Cody did great. He slept through most of the ceremony and the drive. Only a couple times was he PISSED that he was still in his car seat. I don't blame him at all though...it's a really long drive.
The Grandparents! :-)
Uncle Steven and the Mouse...oh and Classroom 183B.
For Mitchell that couldn't be with us...here's the big moment! There were so many people in the field house that they were video taping everyone going across the stage and displaying it on a big screen above the stage. It's kind of hard to tell from this video, but Steven gives the camera the bull horns. Too funny!
Congrats again Steven!
Then Sunday we just hung out at home and relaxed. It was nice enough that Logie could go outside with Daddy for a 4-wheeler ride. He did NOT want to put his snow pants on...no idea why, but he didn't and was not happy when I forced them on him...
Before the 4 wheeler ride...note the crabby look on his face...
During the 4-wheeler ride...note he's much happier now...
After the 4-wheeler ride...note the look of pure happiness now...see Logie...you need to trust Mom...I usually know what's best for you...usually :-)
Rosy checks and nose!
This is what Cody was doing while Logie was on the 4-wheeler....
That bouncing is sure tiring. :-)
