We had our 38 week check up yesterday. Everything went well. Cletus is head down (has been for a while) and ready. I still haven't felt a contraction yet so I'm thinking it will still be a couple weeks before he makes his debut. We haven't checked to see if I'm dilated or anything, maybe next week at our 39 week appointment we'll check it out. The funny thing is our doctor will be gone on vacation next week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (and probably the weekend although we didn't confirm that) so Brian's calling that we'll go into labor next Friday. I'm not really sure what happens if we do go into labor and our dr. isn't there. She didn't even tell us she was going to be gone, but our next appointment is Tuesday the 11th, so we can ask her then. Maybe BMeyer will just put the catchers mitt on and squat at the end of the bed....
Tonight we're getting our taxes done. I'm just hoping this year we won't have to pay in.

If the baseball mit is the only option, make sure he wears a face mask, them things can come flying out pretty fast! we don't want to have him break anything in pretty lil face!
Hey little brother! Good point! I'll let Brian know about the mask. Although his Shrek hands are so big, we probably won't have to worry about that.
no braxton hicks contractions yet? one of the pics you have posted looks like you're having a contraction... the first pic, where your tummy is almost square around the baby... i bet you've had BH contractions w/out even knowing it. i did.
can i go home now?
